Terms & Medical Disclaimer
Please read these terms before using this website or sending a request. Last updated October 4, 2026.
Not for emergencies
This website, the request form, email and voicemail are not monitored around the clock and must never be used for emergencies. If your child is in crisis or may be in danger, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.
No doctor-patient relationship
Using this website, sending a request form, emailing or calling Treehouse does not create a doctor-patient relationship. A doctor-patient relationship begins only after Treehouse has reviewed and accepted your request, intake paperwork is complete, and your child has had a first visit with Dr. Heck. Treehouse may decline any request, and sending a request does not guarantee an appointment.
Not medical advice
Information on this website is general and educational. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment recommendation for any individual, and should not replace a consultation with a qualified clinician who knows your child.
Who we serve
Treehouse provides telehealth care to children and teens ages 5–17 who are physically located in Virginia at the time of each visit. Treehouse is a private-pay, out-of-network practice and does not accept insurance or Medicaid.
Accuracy of information
We try to keep this website accurate and current, but fees, policies and availability can change without notice. The current fee schedule is the one on the Fees page.

Links to other sites, such as scheduling and the patient portal, are provided for convenience. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies.

To the extent allowed by law, Treehouse Child Psychiatry is not liable for any damages arising from use of this website or reliance on its content.
